Trade Process

A controlled process from RFQ to physical completion.

Product availability, eligibility and executable terms are confirmed before completion.

Buying physical bullion from a Dubai trade desk is a five-stage process: define the requirement, submit a request for quotation, complete corporate and compliance review, confirm written terms, then settle and take physical release. There is no checkout and no published price — terms are quoted per requirement, and metal is released only after settlement clears.

  1. 01

    Define the requirement

    Product, format, quantity and timing.

State the metal, purity, minted or cast form, preferred refinery where it matters, and the fine weight or unit count. Acceptable alternatives are worth naming here: a requirement that allows two comparable formats is usually easier to fill than one locked to a single bar. Say whether the need is one-off, recurring or a standing monthly volume — recurring requirements are quoted differently from single purchases.

  2. 02

    Submit the RFQ

Company contact, destination and fulfilment route.

The public RFQ form collects business contact details and the requirement itself. Indicate the intended physical completion route — collection at the Dubai trade desk, or a delivery or third-party custody enquiry. No payment is taken and no identity, banking or KYC material should be sent through the form or through WhatsApp.

  3. 03

    Complete review

Corporate eligibility and compliance are assessed.

Risk-based onboarding applies before any transaction proceeds. Corporate identity, authorised representatives, ownership, jurisdiction, transaction purpose and source-of-funds information may be reviewed. Availability for the specific format is confirmed at this stage — a catalogue listing records a format the desk trades, not guaranteed stock.

  4. 04

    Confirm terms

Price, validity, settlement and fulfilment are documented.

Terms are quoted against the prevailing metal reference plus a premium that reflects refinery, format, weight band and quantity. The quotation states its validity period, the settlement currency and the fulfilment route. Until terms are accepted in writing the RFQ remains an enquiry: it records the requirement but does not create a sale or reserve allocation.

  5. 05

    Settle and release

    Cleared settlement precedes physical release.

Physical release follows cleared settlement. Collection is at the Dubai trade desk; delivery or third-party custody remains subject to provider acceptance, destination eligibility, insurance scope, fees and separate terms. Verify any change to payment instructions directly with an approved company contact before transferring funds — instruction-change fraud is the most common attack on wholesale metal settlement.

An RFQ is an enquiry, not a confirmed allocation or binding transaction.

Frequently asked questions

Do you publish prices for bullion bars?
No. A physical bullion price is the metal reference at the time of dealing plus a premium that depends on the refinery, the format, the weight band, the quantity and the settlement route. The same bar quotes differently for one unit and for a recurring monthly volume, so a published figure would be wrong for almost every buyer. Reference rates shown on this site are indicative and not executable.
Is submitting an RFQ a commitment to buy?
No. An RFQ records a requirement so the desk can review it and respond with terms. It takes no payment, creates no sale and reserves no allocation. A transaction exists only once terms are confirmed in writing and eligibility checks are complete.
Does a catalogue listing mean the bar is in stock?
No. The catalogue records formats the desk trades. Current availability for a specific format — including whether a comparable alternative in the same weight band is the faster route — is confirmed when the requirement is reviewed.
Can I collect the metal in person in Dubai?
Collection at the Dubai trade desk is one of the physical completion routes and is arranged as part of confirmed terms. Delivery and third-party custody are handled as separate enquiries, subject to provider acceptance and their own terms.
What information do I need before contacting the desk?
At minimum: the metal and purity, the form (minted or cast), the fine weight or unit count, the required timing, and whether the requirement is one-off or recurring. Naming acceptable alternatives alongside your first choice usually shortens the process.
