Tax and settlement treatment is confirmed for the parties and structure of an approved transaction.

Tax treatment

Tax treatment, VAT and reverse-charge applicability depend on the parties, transaction structure, product and applicable law. Final tax treatment is confirmed in transaction documentation. Clients should obtain independent tax advice where appropriate.

Settlement

Settlement currency, method, account details, timing and cleared-funds requirements are stated only in approved transaction documents. An RFQ or website reference price is not a settlement instruction.

Fraud warning

Independently verify any bank-account or payment-instruction change through a known official Lotus RA contact. Do not rely solely on email or WhatsApp for a change to settlement instructions.
