Economic releases and bullion enquiries

Interest-rate decisions, inflation, employment and currency data can affect precious-metal reference markets. They do not constitute a Lotus RA quotation: executable product, quantity and fulfilment terms are confirmed separately for each RFQ.

Verify the time zone

Use the time zone shown by the calendar and confirm the release time at its source. A displayed clock time should not be assumed to be Dubai time. Scheduled events can be delayed or rescheduled.

Distinguish the figures

Where provided, previous, forecast and actual values describe different things: an earlier observation, an expectation and a published result. A blank actual field is not a zero. Previous figures may also be revised.

Prepare the enquiry independently

For a physical bullion requirement, state your requested timing and ask the trade desk to confirm quotation validity and completion terms. A calendar entry does not reserve stock, fix a price or confirm a delivery date.
