Precious-metal market references.

Current USD references per troy ounce, with automatic source fallback and last-verified continuity.

How the reference relates to a quotation

A physical bullion quotation includes the metal reference plus the refinery premium, format, weight band, quantity, settlement currency and completion route. Product prices are therefore confirmed for each RFQ rather than published as executable screen prices. View the RFQ and execution process.

Reading the metal reference correctly

Metal, currency and unit

Read the metal name and the USD-per-troy-ounce unit alongside the value. Gold, silver, platinum and palladium are separate references. The unit shown by the market panel is different from the gram or kilogram size of a catalogue bar.

Freshness and fallback

Check the displayed source and observation time. When a source is unavailable, the service may use an alternate source or a last-verified observation. Previously verified data remains labelled so it is not mistaken for a new quote.

Reference versus commercial terms

A calculation based on a market reference does not include all product and transaction terms. The trade desk reviews the selected refinery, unit weight, quantity and completion requirements before issuing the applicable quotation.
